Welcome to Preston Road Multicultural Nursery
We are a happy, homely and stimulating day nursery. We provide the highest quality care and early years education for children aged 6 months to 5 years. We support each child to reach their own individual potential in a fun and safe environment. We nurture and care for your child to create a comfortable, home away from home atmosphere. We recognise and celebrate that all children are individuals, and we encourage them to become confident, independent and to develop their own sense of self. Children are provided with balanced healthy meals freshly prepared on-site, fresh air, exercise, rest and play, which all contribute positively to their intellectual, physical, emotional and social development.

Message from the Manager
Dear Parents and Children,
It is a great privilege to write to you as the Head Teacher at Preston Road Multicultural Nursery School. I have been teaching for over twenty years in a variety of nursery schools and feel that I have the best job in the world! I love to see children develop into confident individuals who can take the next step in their school careers and begin to make their way confidently in the world.
Our nursery has a wonderful community spirit where people really care. The wellbeing of the children is at the heart of the school; ensuring that their needs, and those of their families and carers, can be addressed.
The first five years of a child’s life are the vital foundations from which all future progress will build on. Children learn best when they are healthy, happy, safe and secure, when their individual needs are met and when they have positive relationships with the adults who care for them.
We want every parent to know that their child is important to us here at Preston Road. Please come in and talk to us about any aspect of your child’s welfare, wellbeing or development; by working together the results will have a positive impact on your child’s development and learning.
