EYFS Teacher

Preston Road Nursery values each and every member of staff. We invest significantly in our staff development keeping them up to date with current research, childcare and education trends in a variety of ways. First and foremost, we offer onsite training with our Early Years Team and other renowned expert consultants as well as external training opportunities.We commit to listening to our staff, supporting personal development and nurturing strengths with a track record of internal promotions.  

The position is a part-time position. The ideal candidate will need to be able to commit to 5 days a week MORNINGS ONLY.

The successful EYFS Teacher must :

• have an excellent understanding of the EYFS framework
• have at least 1 year’s post qualifying experience working with children aged between 2 and 5 years old.
• be comfortable working in an orderly nursery environment.
•  have a recognised qualification such as a Level 3 NVQ or CACHE or NNEB or a BA in Early Childhood Studies
• be willing to work as part of a team and be able to work independently
• be able to work using your own initiative
• have the confidence to work in a challenging situations
•  be enthusiatic, condifendent and hard-working.
