Excitement filled the nursery yesterday as the children put on their aprons to make pancakes.

The children followed the recipe to each make some pancake batter. After the children mixed and whisked, the teachers helped them to cook their batter on pans.

The children really enjoyed choosing their own toppings and then came the best part… eating the pancakes! Delicious!

As the children ate their pancakes, we also talked to them about the importance of Shrove Tuesday in the Christian faith.
